Step 1

Draw and cut a 32 x 23 cm rectangle on each of the three fabrics.

Draw a line along the entire length of the inner fabric of the pencil case and place a mark every 1.2 cm.

Step 3

Place the elastic on the end of the red fabric and sew it in order to attach it.

Place a pin on each mark, leaving a small gap to form the pencil compartments.

Step 5

Sew on each mark.

Fold the 20cm elastic in half, place it on the center side of the outer fabric and sew.

Step 7

Overlap the three fabrics, turn the inner and outer fabric against the fleece fabric, and position the bias binding by attaching it with the patchwork clips.

And finally, sew the bias binding.
