- Outer fabric -> Patterns - 100% cotton
- Inner fabric -> Plain linen
- Fleece fabric for upholstery
- Pique bias binding / 180 cm
- Elastic ribbon / 50 cm (Pencil compartments) + 20 cm (Close the pencil case)
- Glass head pins
- Multipurpose scissors
- Standard needles
- Flat metal bobbin
- Patchwork sewing clips
- Measuring tape “Forest”
- Chalk crayon
- Polyester thread 100m
Step 1
Draw and cut a 32 x 23 cm rectangle on each of the three fabrics.
Step 2
Draw a line along the entire length of the inner fabric of the pencil case and place a mark every 1.2 cm.
Step 3
Place the elastic on the end of the red fabric and sew it in order to attach it.
Step 4
Place a pin on each mark, leaving a small gap to form the pencil compartments.
Step 5
Sew on each mark.
Step 6
Fold the 20cm elastic in half, place it on the center side of the outer fabric and sew.
Step 7
Overlap the three fabrics, turn the inner and outer fabric against the fleece fabric, and position the bias binding by attaching it with the patchwork clips.
Step 8
And finally, sew the bias binding.
